Dianna Agron – The Jewish Beauty
 
Dianna Elise Agron was born April 30, 1986 in Savannah, Georgia, and grew up in San Francisco, California. She is the daughter of Mary and Ronald S. Agron, a manager of the famous Hyatt hotels. Agron father's family is originally from Russia;
 
According to an family legend, their original surname, Agronsky, was altered by Ellis Island officials.
 
Her father was born to a Jewish family, while her mother converted to Judaism. Dianna attended Hebrew school and had a bat mitzvah.
 
She has been taking dancing lessons since the age of three, mainly in jazz and ballet. Her acting career started in school, where she performed in theater club productions and after graduation played smaller roles in various productions. The breakthrough came with the role of Quinn Fabray, a high school cheerleader, on the popular Fox series Glee. Agron was the last primary actor to be cast, receiving the role only days before the filming of the pilot episode. 
 
Several songs performed by Agron as Quinn Fabray on Glee have been released as singles, and are also featured on the show's soundtrack albums.
 
The success of Glee and her performance, praised by critics, led to a string of lucrative roles in more serious Hollywood productions. In 2007, she appeared as Dyanna in the action drama thriller film T.K.O. Also, she was able to try her abilities as a film director, writer and producer of the short comedy film A Fuchsia Elephant. 
 
Agron is a vegetarian, and has supported PETA and gay rights. Agron and her Glee co-star Lea Michele have been renting an apartment in downtown Los Angeles together since 2009. 
 
Dianna is considered to be one of the most attractive American celebrities. She was elected by People to their Most Beautiful 2010 list. She also came 8th in the 2011 "Hot 100" list and 13th in the 2012  "Top 50 Favorite Female TV Characters" list on AfterEllen.com. In addition, in April 2012, Shalom Life ranked her at No. 3 on its list of “the 50 most talented, intelligent, funny, and gorgeous Jewish women in the world."
