The Russian American Heritage Museum collects, preserves, and exhibits artifacts and documents that illustrate the contribution made by immigrants from the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union and their descendants to American culture, American society, American politics, and to American civilization in general.

The Museum strives to educate the general public about the role played by “Russians,” whatever their race, religion, or ethnicity may be, in the historical development of the United States.

It promotes multiculturalism and tolerance and seeks to develop understanding between various communities in American society by using the story of the integration and acculturation in America of Russian/Soviet and post-Soviet immigrants.
